Services
Every treatment at Ametu is hands-on — no machines, no standard protocols. Each session starts with a brief assessment of what your body needs right now, and is adapted to you from there.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Expect some discomfort during the session — that’s normal. The relief and ease come afterwards, usually the same day.
1 | Ametu Therapy
Ametu Therapy is our core treatment — a manual method we developed by combining the most effective techniques from Yumeiho, Amatsu, and Shiatsu, grounded in a clinical understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.
We always start with a functional assessment of your posture and movement. Not as a formality, but because where you feel pain is rarely where the problem actually is. Once we understand what we’re working with, we use targeted manual pressure on the deep muscles and joint structures that are actually causing the issue.
The session can include kinesiology taping where needed — to support the musculature between sessions.
Duration: 30-50 minutes
Price – 650 nok – 1200 nok
Best for: Back and neck pain, muscle tension, posture problems, reduced mobility

2 | Pregnancy Therapy
Pregnancy Therapy is an adapted version of Ametu Therapy — the same knowledge and the same manual techniques, modified to be safe and gentle throughout pregnancy.
We avoid techniques that require you to lie on your stomach. Instead, we work with you seated in a specially adapted chair, on a gym ball, or on a mat — depending on what’s most comfortable for you at your stage of pregnancy.
Kinesiology taping is a key part of this treatment. Applied correctly, it can take significant load off the belly, reduce back pain, and provide noticeable relief in everyday life — without medication and without risk.
The treatment is safe at all stages of pregnancy. Let us know how far along you are when you book, and we’ll adapt the session accordingly.
Duration: 30-50 minutes
Price – 600 nok – 1100 nok
Best for: Back pain, pelvic pain, and muscle tension during pregnancy
3 | HIIT Body Training
A training programme built for people who sit a lot, have little experience with exercise, or simply don’t know where to start. No experience needed — no such thing as a stupid question.
Sessions combine high-intensity intervals with exercises that directly counteract the damage of desk work: tight hip flexors, weak core, rounded back. Everything is done with bodyweight and adapted to your level. Warm-up, intervals, cool-down, and stretching — in the right order.
The programme is built on the same understanding of movement mechanics that underpins Ametu Therapy. This isn’t random exercise — it’s training that connects to how the body actually works.
Duration: 30 minutes
Price – 134 kr /person
Best for: Office workers, beginners, stress reduction, improved mobility
4 | Guided stress management
A structured 30-minute session combining three well-established methods for stress reduction: progressive muscle relaxation, breath control, and guided visualisation.
We begin with diaphragmatic breathing to calm the nervous system, then work systematically through the body from the feet upward. At each area you consciously tense the muscles, hold, and release — a technique known as progressive muscle relaxation, well established in stress management and sleep therapy. Short breathing exercises (box breathing and 4-7-8) are used throughout to anchor the body in calm.
As a focusing tool, we use a guided colour visualisation inspired by the rainbow and chakra tradition — not as spiritual practice, but as a concrete mental technique to keep the mind anchored in the body rather than wandering. Easy to follow, effective at clearing mental noise.
The session ends with a full review of all areas — a mental check that the whole body is in balance before you get up.
No meditation experience needed. Come in comfortable clothing, similar to what you’d wear for treatment. We provide a mat, blanket, and pillow.
Duration: 30 minutes
Price: 550 NOK
Format: One-to-one — individually guided
Recommended for: Stress reduction, sleep difficulties, mental restlessness, everyday overload
5 | Reflexology
Reflexology is a manual treatment of the feet in which specific points are stimulated with targeted pressure. The method is based on the idea that different zones of the foot correspond to different parts of the body — and that stimulating these zones can support better circulation, reduce tension, and promote general wellbeing.
The treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and requires no prior knowledge. Most people find it deeply relaxing — and many are surprised by how much they feel it throughout the rest of the body.
Duration: 30 minutes
Price – 600 nok
Best for: Stress reduction, tension, general relaxation
